]]> parts/images/Micah1.jpg Photography has always been a part of my life.  Growing up with a camera just felt natural.  I am truly blessed that I was able to develop my passion of photography into a career that I can share with others.  My goal is to capture moments in time that speak for you.

My sessions are always very casual and never rushed- allowing me time to get an idea of each client's unique and different personality.  I try to create a very comfortable environment for my clients.  You will usually find me taking pictures barefoot and sitting on the floor!  With infants, I allow time for newborn feedings, and even naps!  During Senior sessions, time is allowed for multiple outfit changes and transportation to different outdoor venues.  I always gravitate towards natural poses, expressions, and interaction during my sessions.  I will use minimal props, but I always like the focus to be on the subject- not crowded by backdrops and props.

I specialize in both color and black & white portraiture.  I feel that certain images are more dramatic and expressive when taken in black & white.  As well, color can bring an image to life!  During sessions, I will take both color and b/w images and let you decide what speaks to you.

Now that I am a mom, I can appreciate portrait sessions even more.  I have so much fun working with infants and children and coming up with new and fresh ideas.  I still adore the maternity and newborn sessions.  There is something special about photographing an expectant mother and father and then photographing them after their precious baby arrives.  Giving individuals memories that they can cherish is a gift in itself.  I am definitely in my element when I can be creative and expressive through photography.

I have been a volunteer for the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep organization for two years. This infant bereavement organization is a wonderful way that photographers are able to donate their time and talents to give grieving parents portraits they can cherish for a lifetime.  As a photographer, it is my hope that I will never need to use my talents in this manner.  However, if called upon, I feel that this is a wonderful way to comfort a family in need.

I look forward to meeting each client to see what unique ideas they can bring to their photography session.

In order to better serve our business & help it to continue to prosper, there are a a few changes taking place in regards to ordering and session fees (deposits). 

When booking a general session (please ask on Senior sessions), a deposit is required in the amount of $125.  This fee covers your session fee (Click HERE for Pricing Guide) and applies a credit towards your future purchase. 

Online viewing of your session will be available for 15 days only.  Orders are to be received within 30 days of your album being active.  If you have not placed your order within this 30 day period, your images will be archived.  If you choose to order after they are archived, there is a $50 retrieval fee.  After 60 days, your images will no longer be available for purchase.

Sure, you could pay someone a session fee and then have your images printed at a local chain, but you wouldn't get the full effect of your great images! )

Introducing Dutchess (solid black female) and Gilmore (black and white male). These two cats live in the studio full time. I have had them since they were kittens. They were my first "children" & lived with me prior to getting married.

Many people have come to know them as they walk down main street. The cats sometimes get more attention than the pictures in the windows! But, they are very friendly and long for someone to talk to them through the window. They have been used to try and get smiles out of a young child & Gilmore was even featured in Senior portraits.

I am adding them to the website so that individuals will know that they live here in order to avoid allergies.
