At A Thousand Words Photography, we are here to meet your needs.
Instead of coming to the studio, try having a session set in your home enviornment. These sessions generally use the natural light in your home and are very relaxed and creative.
I have purchased an infant and young girl size to use at the studio for props!

Newborns are one of the most fun photo session! The key is taking them very early- the younger and smaller, the better. I try to take these within the first 2 weeks of a newborn's life. But, even at 4-5 days old is great! This allows us to pose them as we want and generally, they sleep through the entire session- making it easier on everyone! I just love experimenting with different styles of posing and settings with newborns.

There are an array of unique ideas for newborns- and I am always open to more. You can have your newborn in the "stork" sack, as a "pea in the pod," laying on a bed of flowers (reminds me of the Anne Geddes pictures), in a wicker basket, wearing nothing but a hat...the possibilities are endless. And the best part, is that we can take them in the studio or outdoors (weather permitting). Another great option, is that I am more than willing to come to your home for a session. We can incorporate your home surroundings, nursery, etc for these great and unique portraits.

Please contact me if you would like to know more about these specialty newborn sessions! Remember, some of the greatest images are captured in those first few weeks after they arrive- so plan ahead!
</text>
